About Us

Brigitte White, D.M.D., Founder

Oral Care Expert I Mom I Author I Blogger

Dr. Brigitte White is a graduate of Princeton University and received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. A wife,

mother and clinician with over a decade of experience working with patients of all ages, Dr. White understands the importance of dental care from early

childhood. She created BrightWhites to provide growing families with oral care

tools to aid them throughout pregnancy and their child's development. Dr. Whitecurrently practices in Washington, DC at Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Care, the largest provider for the underserved in the metropolitan area.

Dr. White has presented with the Department of Health and major Health Management Organizations on the topic of Preventive Oral Care for Young Chidren. She has published research on Olfaction and Gustatory Function and has also worked as a dental provider for the U.S. Army, as seen in Essence Magazine. She speaks both English and Spanish and enjoys working with diverse populations. In her free time, Dr. White enjoys organizing cross-cultural youth initiatives and writing. She is the author of the young adult fiction novel All-American and she writes about her mommy adventures in her blog BilingualAmericano.
